Submission Guidelines
LMS welcomes original, interdisciplinary scholarship that critically examines the intersections between language, media technologies, discourse, and social life. We encourage submissions from early-career scholars, independent researchers, and practitioners whose work engages with communication in global and local contexts. We are an open-access, peer-reviewed journal with a commitment to double-blind review, ethical publishing, and platform equity.

Formatting Requirements

Submit your manuscript as a `.doc` or `.docx` file

Include a title page with the following information (this will be removed before peer review):

Full article title

Author(s)’ name(s), affiliation(s), and email(s)

Abstract (150–250 words)
-
4–7 keywords
-
You may use any recognized academic citation style (e.g., APA, MLA, Chicago, Harvard, etc.) as long as it is used consistently and correctly throughout the manuscript.

Submissions should be double-spaced, 12pt font, with 1-inch (2.54 cm) margins.

We welcome images, tables, figures, and media links where appropriate. Please include captions and cite sources clearly.

Length Guideline

Research Articles: 6,000–9,000 words (including references, excluding appendices)

Theoretical Essays / Critical Reflections: 3,000–6,000 words

Book Reviews / Interviews / Commentaries: 1,500–3,000 words

Experimental / Multimedia Submissions: flexible length; please consult the editors in advance
